                 Since this mudra resembles the shape of a Hindu deity Lord Shiva, it is termed so.


  1. Keep one arm flat and horizontal.
  2. Place the other arm at the base of another arm.
  3. The fingers of the hand at the top should be folded and the thumb should be raised up.
  4. The bas should be straight and flat.
  5. This full shape resembles shiva linga mudra.
